Our Tia was a big fluffy german shephard who lived to a good old age of 13. To
us she was more than a dog, she was very much part of the family. She loved
nothing more than chasing a football around the park with the kids or
chomping on a bone. She slobbered so much we could have filled a paddling
pool. Pull out a box of quality streets and she'd be your best friend for
life :) She was there for every one of us at one point or another. She was there for the kids growing up, and was a good friend to them. Her nature and
mannerisms were amazing, you honestly could not have asked for a better dog
:) From her adopted dad, she has left me her legacy, saved my life many times
and will never leave our thoughts. Thank you for all you've done big yin,
and we hope you're as happy now as you were when you were here :)
You'll be
missed loads.

THOMAS
Hello I am Thomas, I lived with my family for 13 yrs and was very loved and I
loved my family. Mum and I have a very close bond, loved having my belly
rubbed and I loved being cuddled close, it made me purr so loud I knew I was
special. One day I felt unwell and mum knew it too, mum cried and cuddled me
she knew what she had to do. I still visit and she knows I am around after 3
yrs the tears keep falling as I make my purring sound. I still lay in the
garden soaking up the sun and everyday she comes to me and we chat and have
some fun. We are still together, I will never go astray our hearts entwined with memories forever and a day. Thomas your paw prints are on my heart
one day we will cuddle again, keep coming to your garden and we will soak up the
sun again.

was a big softy.

GRETCHEN
Our sweet baby girl came into our lives unexpectedly one night. We
were driving home late from a Christmas party and found her on the side of
the road. She brought so much joy into our lives. We have never had a
dog that was so expressive and affectionate. She could not get enough
love and attention nor could she give enough. While we miss her more
than words can begin to describe, we take comfort in the knowledge that
we could not have loved her more, and she knew that. We did everything
we could for her and we were with her until the end. We look forward to
the day we are reunited with her. Until then, life will never be the same.
We are still beside ourselves with grief, sadness and disbelief, but
we are thankful for the six years that we had with Gretchen. She was
a beautiful and glorious creature inside and out.

LADY
Lady was the most amazing wee dog, she was nearly 15 when she passed away in
June 2006. I had her since she was 6wks old. She was like one of my kids. It's
nearly 3 yrs and the house still feels empty without her, sadly I cant bring
myself to get another dog as I know I cant replace her.

DAISY
(I MUST SAY,
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL
AND SWEET POEM.)
Adopted Daisy 3yrs ago, she came with terrible OCD
and licked all the fur off herself from the waist down! Since having her she
improved immensely. She fell asleep behind the sofa yesterday (06/03/09). My
grandaughter, Phoebie has written this poem.
DAISY Oh Daisy
Daisy,
Beautiful Daisy,
You were always lazy lazy.
Oh Daisy
Daisy,
You were crazy,
Being such a pain...
(But we prefer you the way
you are!)
Oh Daisy Daisy Daisy.
You weren't hairy,
You were
bald!
But Daisy Daisy,
We love you so,
And will never forget your
soul.

JADES' CAT
He was a very intelligent friend, breaking in and out of houses, and yet he
was very dizzy. I miss him so much, his warmth next to me, his meows and
little things he did. He died of HIV, contracted from a fight just before
christmas, he was 15. It still hurts.

From the nervous little kitten we brought home years ago, Merrang developed
into my gentle, loving boy. Always friendly. We will all miss him so much. He
lost his battle with chronic kidney disease this year, and we are devastated
by the loss. One day we will meet again, until then, he will always be in my
heart.

STRIPER
Striper was a climber! He would climb on people and enjoyed riding on
my dad's back. He also climbed up to the high kitchen cupboard to get
some catnip and when he got sick and didn't feel well, climbed up inside
the drop ceiling in the basement!

SYLVESTER
Sylvester was a stray my dad took in that tested positive for feline HIV so
had to be kept separate from the other cats. He loved being pet and was very
affectionate, but did not like other cats. He looked like a big bobcat
because he was never neutered.

SWEET THING
Sweet Thing was my favorite of my dad's cats that he took in. He was
an intact male cat who got tested positive for feline HIV after getting
in several fights with Sylvester--a tabby my dad took in and tried keeping
in a separate room. Sweet Thing loved it when I brushed him and
liked sleeping under the table in the bed I bought for him.
